Tel Aviv is becoming a city for the rich only – and for most of us it will be impossible to stay here. While the rent for all of us just keeps going up and up, Airbnb landlords are making huge profits. While Arab families are being evicted from Jaffa, the real estate tycoons are celebrating. Residents are being pushed out and forcibly evicted from the southern neighborhoods of the city. While we are all being pushed out of the city, the municipality is gloating and saying that this is how it is a “free market”.

Tel Aviv will turn into a city only for the rich – and for most of us it will be impossible to stay here. While the rent for all of us continues to rise, Airbnb owners are making huge profits. While the Arab families are being evicted and displaced from Jaffa, the real estate tycoons are celebrating. Residents are expelled and forcibly evacuated from the southern neighborhoods of the city. While we are all being kicked out of the city, and the municipality is acting stupid and saying this is the “free market”.

The municipality is trying to smear us with lousy plans that do not meet our needs and problems.
We, the residents of Tel Aviv, religious and secular, Arab and Jewish, from different neighborhoods in the city, we all stand together – and demand from the municipality to provide real solutions to the housing crisis, because without us there is no city!

Since the municipality is not ready to take responsibility for the issue, hear the problems that exist and find solutions, we will do it for them. On Monday, January 30, at 19:00, during the municipality’s council meeting, we will set up an alternative council meeting outside the municipality building, where we will speak and they will listen to us. Residents will talk about the housing woes in the city, the harsh reality and what the municipality can do as early as tomorrow morning. join us!

תל אביב הופכת לעיר לעשירים בלבד – ולרובנו נהיה בלתי אפשרי להישאר כאן. בזמן שהשכירות של כולנו רק עולה ועולה, בעלי דירות Airbnb מרוויחים בענק. בזמן שמשפחות ערביות מפונות מיפו, טייקוני הנדל”ן חוגגים. תושבים נדחקים ומפונים בכוח משכונות דרום העיר (תל כביר, גבעת עמל, הארגזים). בזמן שכולנו נדחקים מהעיר, העירייה מיתממת ואומרת שככה זה “שוק חופשי”.
تتحول تل أبيب إلى مدينة للأثرياء فقط – وبالنسبة لمعظمنا سيكون من المستحيل البقاء هنا. بينما يستمر الإيجار بالنسبة لنا جميعًا في الارتفاع، فإن أصحاب شقق الـ Airbnb يحققون أرباحًا ضخمة. بينما يتم إجلاء وتهجير العائلات العربية من يافا، يحتفل أباطرة العقارات. يتم طرد السكان وإجلائهم قسراً من الأحياء الجنوبية للمدينة (تل كبير، جفعات عمال، هأرغازيم). بينما يتم طردنا جميعًا من المدينة، والبلدية تتصرف ببلاهة وتقول أن هذا هو “السوق الحرة”.

تحاول البلدية اشغالنا بخطط رديئة لا تلبي احتياجاتنا ومشاكلنا.
نحن سكان تل أبيب، المتدينين والعلمانيين، العرب واليهود، من مختلف أحياء المدينة، نقف جميعًا معًا – ونطالب البلدية بتقديم حلول حقيقية لأزمة السكن، لأنه بدوننا لا توجد مدينة!

מכיוון שהעירייה לא מוכנה לקחת אחריות על הנושא, לשמוע את הבעיות שיש ולמצוא פתרונות, אנחנו נעשה את זה בשבילה. ביום שני, ה-30 בינואר, בשעה 19:00, בזמן ישיבת המועצה של העירייה, נקים מחוץ לבניין העירייה ישיבת מועצה אלטרנטיבית, שבה אנחנו נדבר והם יקשיבו לנו. תושבים ידברו על מצוקות הדיור בעיר, על המציאות הקשה ועל מה העירייה יכולה לעשות כבר מחר בבוקר. הצטרפו אלינו!
بما أن البلدية غير مستعدة لتحمل المسؤولية عن هذه القضية، والاستماع إلى المشاكل الموجودة وإيجاد الحلول، سنفعل ذلك من أجلها. يوم الاثنين 30 كانون الثاني، الساعة 19:00، خلال اجتماع المجلس البلدي، سنقيم اجتماعًا بديلًا للمجلس خارج مبنى البلدية، حيث سنتحدث وسيستمعون إلينا. سيتحدث السكان عن مشاكل الإسكان في المدينة، والواقع القاسي وما يمكن أن تفعله البلدية من الغد. انضموا إلينا!
