On 7/25 we invite you to a special evening that will bring us together with a contemporary ultra-orthodox work. During the evening we will see four short films by ultra-Orthodox female directors. The films reveal the personal stories of the female directors and their dealings with universal issues such as parenting, relationships and home life, as well as their coming to terms with their dual identity as ultra-orthodox and Israeli.
After the group, we will host the female directors for a panel where we will talk about the new trends in female ultra-Orthodox creation, the union of ultra-Orthodox female filmmakers and what the paths and challenges look like on an ultra-orthodox woman’s path to creation.
