For the first time, the most successful musical of all time, the Phantom of the Opera reaches a limited number of performances in Israel as part of the world tour, starting on August 12, 1919 at the Opera House of the Performing Arts Center in Tel Aviv. The musical is produced and marketed in Israel by producer Moshe Yosef.
The Phantom of the Opera The Phantom of the Opera is based on a Gothic novel that takes place at the Royal Opera in Paris and tells of the tragic love of the Phantom, a musical genius with a distorted exterior, in the young opera singer. The musical presents a love story alongside moments of tension and horror with sweeping music that combines styles of rock, classical music and a light opera that includes keyboards, violins and brass instruments. All these with the addition of a set of changing scenery, spectacular costumes, colorful and mesmerizing, a variety of singers and dancers and dancers create a fascinating, sweeping and unforgettable experience.
The Phantom of the Opera is currently being performed in London, New York, Budapest and the United States, and will arrive in Israel as part of a world tour that will also take place in Singapore, Manila, Malaysia and Abu Dhabi
