Come celebrate with us at “Heart Beat”, a festival for the whole family that is all about African music, dedicated to the happiness and beauty of the cultures that live among us.
The festival is a collaboration between the Elifelet association for refugee children, which marks a decade of its activity, and the Green Bear. All proceeds are a donation to the association to help underprivileged children in Israel, and many of the artists and vendors at the event do so voluntarily out of a desire to help children and in recognition of the important activity of the association.
Line up:
13:30 – Opening of gates
14:00 – Bangura – a mesmerizing interactive drumming workshop led by the leading masters from West Africa in drumming and dance, a rhythmic and colorful dance performance to the beat of the drums with spectacular and changing costumes, combined with singing and dancing.
15:30 – Bob Kids – a fascinating musical journey that will take the children through the songs, rhythms and life stations of the reggae prophet Bob Marley, who called for “one love”.
During the festival you can also enjoy a colorful vegan food complex in collaboration with the Jewish community from Dimona.
Complex selling children’s clothes at a cost of 10-20 NIS per item (all proceeds are a donation to the association).
