Los Burning Tacos

This small Mexican joint is located near the Shuk in front of the ‘Deli’ club. Inside there is a wooden bar from which you can watch the amazing cocktails being made. We recommend the Bloody Mary (31 NIS)- they’re very generous with the vodka. Outside there are a few small tables with friendly table service.

The menu is pretty standard for Mexican: a selection of tacos and burritos with various fillings (36 NIS), quesadillas (29 NIS), enchiladas (41 NIS), and corn (17 NIS). The nachos are great but very thick and crunchy so it’s a matter of opinion on that one.

We tried the chicken, beef, and fish tacos and would definitely urge you to opt for the fish. They are served as 3 small soft tacos and the fish is topped with a flavoursome jalapeño and lime sauce. We also nibbled on the padrones (grilled Spanish spicy peppers) to start and they were excellent.

Today, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, they are offering 25 NIS cocktails, 20 NIS beers, and exciting special dishes! Delicioso!
