“Horror Vacui” (from Latin “fear of empty space”) – the final group exhibition of 18 creators of different ages and backgrounds, the students of Ossi Yalon’s Studio.
In their works, artists discussing Horror Vacui – the tendency of overfilling a space or an artwork with details , which is relevant both in art and in real life. Just as artists subconsciously are afraid to leave too much empty space on their canvas, people in everyday life tend to fill the space around them with work, people, hobbies and lots of other things. At the exhibition, you’ll see what the fear of emptiness means for each of the artists.
