Indie Photography Gallery opens its new home on 42 Chlenov Street, following an unexpected evacuation from the previous gallery in the city of Kiryat Hamelacha. The new space, on the street level, is composed of three rooms, and allows a different approach both in terms of space and integration into the public space that connects the city center to the south. Come celebrate with us the transition to the new space.
The first space exhibition, Post Freed, is a group exhibition, the result of a call to LGBT artists who were asked to comment on the expression and submit works that deal with their personal interpretation of the subject. The works, both in photography and video instalation, present the viewer with a wide range of emotions, questions and expectations that deal with gender, acceptance, fantasy and reality.
The exhibition will open on Thursday 25.10 at 20:00 and will close on Saturday 10.11
