Venus jumps to visit Jaffa! The Roman counterpart of the Greek Goddess Aphrodite – the goddess of love and beauty – represents pure and unattainable aesthetics, an ideal of beauty and wholeness.

But enough-it had been quite a while now-beauties born out of that shell completely out. The works presented in the exhibition seek to stretch the boundaries of the worn-out ideal and try to create, through various practices, a new aesthetics that breaks conventions.
