What books can be brought to the event? ๐
โ Children’s books, thrillers, novels, nonfiction, English.
Make sure the books are in good condition (ones you would take yourself).
Can’t come to the event but have any books to give? ๐
Feel free to drop them off at Mazeh 9 until Friday, May 21th.
What is the goal behind the initiative and Lokaliโ
To promote the gift economy in the city and create sustainable accessibility for everyone by coordinating people and unlocking the abundance that we share, in this case by swapping books.
Where are the remaining books going?
They will donate to various gifting ventures or do good through books.
Who we areโ
Lokali is a community built to enable members to share or contribute their time, items, or digital resources with each other freely in order to save everyone money, give as many people as possible access to resources they might not otherwise have achieved and live a more environmental life. โ๐ป
Community members are stunning individuals who are motivated to give to you voluntarily because they trust that they will receive what they need from the community. With every gift, they build their reputation and strong contributors stand to receive more gifts in the future.๐

About the location: ๐
Mazeh 9 – The Youth Center of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, is intended to promote and encourage initiatives by young people in the city. Towards the summer, Mazeh 9 will expand into another building and open the first urban sustainability center in the city. As part of the assistance to the urban efforts in promoting a sustainable lifestyle among the city’s residents, the center initiates collaborations with local projects dealing with sustainability and cooperative and circular economy.
This is the first collaboration with Lokali, a local venture that offers a technological solution to the give-and-take market.
