Marco Carola is synonymous with techno. The DJ and the producer ןד not only the one of the founding fathers and pillars of the Italian scene that has been bubbling since the early 1990s – he is one of the main players in the global field.

Carola, known for his uncompromising virtuoso absorption style with three turntables and superlative technique, is a permanent member of the RA annual top 100 , ripping the main stages in the largest music festivals on the planet (like BPM, which he made his private playfield), owns a luxury residency in the ultimate Ibiza club, “Amnesia”, and releases his music on labels such as Luco Dice’s “Desolat” and Richie Hawtin’s M_nus.

Today Carola is in a league of his own. His Music On Ibiza parties parties brought a tiebreaker to the wildly competitive island .Besides his unique style of driving techno he’s known for, he also brought with him the hedonistic Italian spirit that matched the character of Ibiza, and took the Music On parties – and the whole island with them – one step forward, or rather upwords.

One of Carolla’s moves in Music On was abandoning the three turntables set up in favor of simplifying conventional electronics and reassembling them in search of the ultimate groove.Not unlike what Hawtin he did at the end of the 1990s with his “Decks fx and 909,” he builds at every party from the foundations a unique technoid story, unlike anything else you’vehear.
