At the height of the millennium, Bonobo [DJ and musician Simon Green] came to our lives with his debut album Animal Magic, which was produced entirely by him and released under the label True Thoughts. Even then, Greene, who plays a variety of instruments and has been poured into his dauttampo music, has been known to have samplings and refreshing influences from the jazz and world music regions, to pioneer in his field and to make a great promise. Bonobo was soon signed on Koldakat’s label, Ninja Teun, in which he released the album ‘Dial’ M ‘for Monkey in 2003, which presented a minimalist but hypnotic atmosphere. The album has received favorable reviews and has positioned Bonobo as one of the most powerful and relevant acts in the electronic music world.
