A Woman’s Image – A Tribute to Tirza Atar’s Songs
A festive evening marking International Women’s Day

Tirza Atar – poet, songwriter, writer and translator – expresses a personal and feminine voice that resonates and touches today and continues to inspire many artists, regardless of her intriguing story. Exactly 40 years ago, in September 1977, the poetess fell from her window; The circumstances of her death remained a mystery.
Thus, on the 40th anniversary of her death, and in order to honor her work and songs, the five musicians Sari Niv, Ruth Danon, Meirav Helinger, Roni Wagner and Roni Bar-Hadas present an original and varied feminine evening of music that breathes new life into her compositions.
After a premiere that received enthusiastic reviews at the 2017 Piano Festival, the show was performed again and again in front of packed halls and selected stages throughout the country.
