Most known for his memorial songs Perah (Flower) and KSheTigdal (When you grow up), Yehuda Poliker grew up with a Holocaust survivor for a father. Originally from Greece, Yehuda Poliker, was awarded (September, 2014) the “Phoenix Golden Medal” by the president of Greece himself for his efforts to empower Greek music within the Israeli culture.
