Thoughtful Design For A Human-shaped World

On November 10th, join us in Designit’s office in Tel Aviv as we team up with eight other Designit offices around the world to celebrate World Usability Day, a single day of events dedicated to ensuring that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use. We’re looking forward to inviting you to an evening of discussion around usability and problem solving.

From queuing in line at the airport, to opening packaging, to plugging into the huge international networks that underpin our most basic needs, usability permeates all that we do. However, the truth is that the world is still filled with complicated and tech-driven solutions that are more human-proof, than human-shaped. If we continue to make tech work first and hope the end users will follow, we may be heading towards a usability crisis.

Ambitious Problem Solving:
Can we be more ambitious in tackling complicated sets of problems by orchestrating the world to our will? how to build up team confidence to enable them to design tough problems out of existence? where can we find inspiration?

“Self” Service Design:
As professionals, we strive to deliver the best service we can for our clients. To solve various challenges, we apply a wide range of creative tools and methodologies. However, once we come home – all this talent and skill seems to change (especially if you have kids).
How can we be more innovative when it comes to managing our household chores? How can we think about our kids’ behavior and challenges in entirely new ways? How can we create new experiences with our loved ones?
