This is the third year in a row that Bicycle Movement marks World Bicycle Day!
World or International Bicycle Day is celebrated on June 3 each year in recognition of the uniqueness of the bicycle as the means of transportation chosen by God, and is a reminder of why anyone can and should be active in promoting riders’ rights and public space.
Before the ride, at two stopping points and at the end of the ride, we will share stories of residents ’struggles of bicycles, green lungs, and public space.
Pay attention! Important rules of conduct during the event:
During the event and during the ride, the right of way should be given to pedestrians at crossings.
Pedestrian crossings should not be blocked.
Do not ride on sidewalks.
Do not disturb or confront drivers, and you MUST remain in the group, together; )

זוהי השנה השלישית ברציפות שתנועת אופניים מציינת את יום האופניים העולמי!
יום האופניים העולמי או הבינלאומי נחגג ב-3 ביוני בכל שנה כהכרה בייחודיות האופניים ככלי התחבורה הנבחר בה’ הידיעה: פשוט, זול, אמין, נקי מדלק, ללא חיפוש חנייה, וגם כושר גופני על הדרך!
יום האופניים העולמי הוא תזכורת מדוע כל אחד.ת יכול.ה וצריכ.ה להיות פעיל לקידום זכויות הרוכבים והמרחב הציבורי.
לפני היציאה לרכיבה, בשתי נקודות עצירה ובסוף הרכיבה, נשתף סיפורים של מאבקי תושבים של אופניים, ריאות ירוקות, והמרחב הציבורי.

מדינות רבות עברו למדיניות תחבורתית שמוטה לכיוון אופניים בעקבות מחקרים המצביעים על היתרונות הבריאותיים, החברתיים, הכלכליים והסביבתיים הנובעים מרכיבה והפיכת המרחב הציבורי לידידותי לרוכבים ולהולכי רגל.
גם בתל-אביב יפו הבינו כי קהילת רוכבי האופניים are here to stay, ושיש להתחשב בנו כבר בשלב התכנון. אמנם היישום של התובנה הזו מאד שנוי במחלוקת.
שימו לב! כללי התנהגות חשובים במהלך האירוע:
במהלך האירוע ובמהלך הרכיבה יש לתת זכות קדימה להולכי רגל במעברי חצייה.
אין לחסום מעברי חצייה להולכי רגל.
אין לרכוב על מדרכות.
אין להפריע או להתעמת עם נהגים
יש להישאר בקבוצה, ביחד, together ; )
