Ronnie Kuban will talk with Yoni Rechter about this special meeting, how it started and how songs like ‘As long as’ were written for example which, it seems, brought the ability of each of them to the peak. In the evening, well-known songs such as: ‘That’s all there is’, ‘She’s here again’, ‘My only love’ and ‘Cosmic prophetic song’ will be performed, along with songs that have never been revealed, some of them from a shelved musical, as well as nonsense songs.
Words for melodies, three meetings with Yoni Rechter
Yoni Rechter,
One of the original and interesting musicians in Israeli music for four decades.
His music combines a wide variety of styles with influences from jazz, rock, east and west, Richter’s songs for both adults and children are characterized by great sensitivity to the text and not a few of them have become classics. Over the years he wrote music for theater and cinema and also composed 3 operas, one for the Israeli Opera and two for the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. His latest work “Musical Pictures from the Joints of Ancestors” was released about a year ago in Jerusalem. Rechter has been performing for many years on stages throughout the country and abroad in many and varied ensembles.
In three one-off meetings in which he will talk with a guest moderator and perform songs related to the chosen topic.

יוני רכטר ועלי מוהר שיתפו פעולה למעלה משלושים שנה, קשר שהתחיל בכתיבת שירים המשיך בכתיבה לתיאטרון וקולנוע וגם הגיע לבמה במופע משותף של השניים. רוני קובן ישוחח עם יוני רכטר על המפגש המיוחד הזה, איך הוא התחיל וכיצד נכתבו שירים כמו ׳כל עוד׳ למשל שהביאו, כך נדמה, את היכולת של כל אחד מהם לשיא. בערב יבוצעו שירים מוכרים כמו: ׳זה כל מה שיש׳ ׳שוב היא כאן׳ ׳אהובתי היחידה׳ ו׳שיר נבואי קוסמי׳ לצד שירים שמעולם לא נחשפו חלקם ממחזמר גנוז וגם שירי שטות.
במופע זה ישתתפו הזמרים: גיא פלץ/ תום חודורב, יעל צרי, טל גנור/ ענת מושקובסקי

אחד המוזיקאים המקוריים והמעניינים במוזיקה הישראלית מזה ארבעה עשורים.
המוזיקה שלו משלבת מגוון רחב של סגנונות עם השפעות מ ג’אז, רוק, מזרח ומערב, השירים של רכטר הן למבוגרים והן ל ילדים מתאפיינים ברגישות רבה לטקסט ולא מעט מהם הפכו לקלאסיקות. לאורך השנים כתב מוזיקה לתיאטרון וקולנוע וגם הלחין 3 אופרות, אחת לאופרה הישראלית ושתיים לתזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית . יצירתו האחרונה “תמונות מוזיקליות מפרקי אבות” עלתה לפני כשנה בירושלים רכטר מופיע מזה שנים רבות על הבמות ברחבי הארץ ובחו”ל בהרכבים רבים ומגוונים.
בשלושה מפגשים חד פעמיים בהם הוא ישוחח עם מנחה אורח ויבצע שירים הקשורים לנושא הנבחר.
