curatorial faculty and Tamara Admoni are building a contemporary wonder nest at the Jaffa Nest Gallery in Jaffa inspired by the Renaissance Wonderland. The Exhibition “Nest of Wonder” invites viewers to a contemporary wonder-room experience.
The exhibition collects an eclectic variety of art in various mediums, from installation and poetry to anatomical drawings. The pieces flutter to the aesthetics and objects displayed in the original wonders.
In the ancient wonderland, a mix of art, antiques, minerals, precious stones, stuffed animals, archeology finds and more were displayed in order and legality. The exhibits were part of a private collection of aristocracy, wealthy merchants and scholars that allowed the public to be exposed to the wonders of the world in a private microcosm. “Wonder Nest” is an opportunity to experience the wonder of the wonders in a modern version of the Nest Gallery in Jaffa.
