Wed 20 December 2017 | 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Dizengoff 190 - Dizengoff 190, Tel Aviv,

Come join us for our ninth Chanukah light tradition as we drink, raise money & awareness, while supporting local grasroots initiatives.

ALL PROCEEDS go to the charity of the month – Ani Shlishi – a second-hand clothing store whose profits fund educational opportunities for those beneath the poverty line, including school supplies for at-risk kids and academic scholarships. Unsold items are delivered to agencies serving individuals and families in need to provide immediate assistance.

30 NIS tickets in advance, 40 NIS on the door. Limited tickets available!

Thanks to Ilan Kon-Weiner for hosting us on his roof for the upcoming event.

What is Wine Wednesday?

An excuse to drink good Israeli wine with friends (both old and soon-to-be) while raising money and awareness for important grassroots projects in Israel.

How does it work?

1. Bring a bottle of Kosher wine for less than 100 NIS. (If you come with a friend you can bring one between the two of you)

2. The wine bottles will be covered with a number and each person can taste and vote for their favorite wines – the bringer of the best wine wins a prize!

3. At the event we will have someone giving a 5 minute pitch about a grassroots project (we promise it will only be 5 mins!) and you will have an opportunity to mingle with him/her over wine afterwards.

4. We will collect 30NIS from all guests (40 NIS at the door), for the “Wine Wednesdays Grassroots Project of the month”.

Thats it! (Other than to enjoy, knowing that you are drinking wine for a good cause:)

If anyone is interested in hosting future “Wine Wednesday” has ideas of great grassroots projects in Israel to support, or wants to help out in securing/offering prizes, please be in touch!

Looking forward to see you then!
