Cinemateque - Shprintsak Street 2, Tel Aviv,

A new American-language language processing algorithm can write surprising sequels to well-known book openings, create cinematic scenes, and perhaps even create works of its own. Sounds fanciful?

In a lecture that will bring together past, present and future, Yuval Avivi (“here”) will host Boaz Lavi, a screenwriter and playwright who also engages in the connection between artificial intelligence and human creativity and a fascinating conversation about the limits of human spirit and the rise of machines. Includes funny, funny, scary demos of new endings to the openness of Hebrew literature that we all know. Scary? Maybe. worthwhile? Let’s talk about it.
