The psychology of the ancient East and our perception of happiness

Some say that Buddhism dealt with psychology long before Freud.
Both Buddha and Freud have studied human nature, the parts we do not know within ourselves, and our path to happiness.

Why do we suffer in life and what is the way Buddha spoke of as a means of releasing ourselves from suffering?
What are our defense mechanisms and what is the difference between emotional repression and non-attachment?

An experiential lecture on the encounter between psychology and philosophy, the real freedom and the invisible and unconscious forces that activate us.

In the lecture we will experience an exercise in which we will become our own psychologists and practice observation and research without personal identification.

We will also discuss the difference between repression and non-attachment and we will see how one can live a life that is both mentally healthy and profound.
