At the end of the demonstration, we will march from Rabin Square to the government compound.

This is a time when we all feel suffocated, trampled, untold, betrayed. We have reached an economic, health and social low point following an opaque and failed policy of a dysfunctional government. We have lost faith in elected officials who instead of serving us, the citizens and the citizens, are engaged in cynical politics and detached from reality.

We are all in a difficult time. Many businesses have already gone bankrupt and many more are on the verge of collapse. Unemployment figures in the sky, middle-class young people are joining the circle of survival, our reality is crumbling and tomorrow is full of uncertainty. While the failure to manage the corona crisis resonates in our bank accounts and the economic and social situation worsens – we have no choice but to take to the streets.

Too much time has split between us. Too long we have been lied to. But we do not believe them anymore. It’s over – we are united! Unite in the face of the voices that want to split between us in order to live at our expense. Unite in the face of the voices that want to preserve the old order. Unite in the face of the broken reality in which they imprisoned us.

We are fed up with the alliance between the government and the billionaires and with an old-fashioned method that does not see us from a distance. Precisely in days of despair, days when no change is in sight – this is exactly our time to awaken the darkness. We will rebuild this house. Because we have no choice, no one else will take care of us. Now it’s us. Because we are the change, we are tomorrow – and we will win

בסיום ההפגנה נצעד מכיכר רבין לקרית הממשלה.

זוהי תקופה בה כולנו מרגישים חנוקים, נרמסים, לא נספרים, נבגדים. הגענו לנקודת שפל כלכלית, בריאותית וחברתית בעקבות מדיניות אטומה וכושלת של ממשלה לא מתפקדת. אבדנו את האמון בנבחרי הציבור שבמקום לשרת אותנו, האזרחיות והאזרחים, עסוקים בפוליטיקה צינית ומנותקת מהמציאות.

כולנו נמצאים בתקופה קשה. עסקים רבים כבר פשטו את הרגל ועוד רבים ניצבים על סף קריסה. נתוני האבטלה בשמים, צעירים ממעמד הביניים מצטרפים למעגל ההישרדות, המציאות שלנו מתפוררת והמחר מלא בחוסר וודאות. בעוד כישלון ניהול משבר הקורונה מהדהד בחשבונות הבנק שלנו והמצב הכלכלי והחברתי הולך ומחמיר — אין לנו ברירה אלא לצאת לרחובות.

יותר מדי זמן פילגו בינינו. יותר מדי זמן שיקרו לנו. אבל אנחנו לא מאמינות להם יותר. זה נגמר — אנחנו מתאחדים! מתאחדות אל מול הקולות שרוצים לשסע בינינו על מנת לחיות על חשבונינו. מתאחדים אל מול הקולות שרוצים לשמר את הסדר הישן. מתאחדות אל מול המציאות השבורה שהם כלאו אותנו בתוכה.

מאסנו בברית בין השלטון למיליארדרים ובשיטה מיושנת שלא רואה אותנו ממטר. דווקא בימים של ייאוש, ימים שבהם שינוי לא נראה באופק — זה בדיוק הזמן שלנו להעיר את החושך. אנחנו נבנה את הבית הזה מחדש. כי אין לנו ברירה, אף אחד אחר לא ידאג לנו. עכשיו זה אנחנו. כי אנחנו השינוי, אנחנו המחר — ואנחנו ננצח!
