We Are All Global Citizens – so Let’s Act Like It!
In our globalising world many of us feel that we are world citizens, but what does that really mean? Reflecting on 25 years of dealing with politicians, broadcasters and the daily news agenda, and seeing cynicism from all angles, this talk will examine how our values and beliefs are shaped by the media, and how important it is for us to look beyond our local concerns and see how global issues affect our daily lives and our future existence.

Everyone is welcome. The event is free.
The talk will be in English.

About the speaker:
Victoria Braverman has a background in news and entertainment broadcasting. She made aliyah from the UK in 2013 – the best decision of her life – hoping to find new challenges and quickly discovered that being totally committed and involved in society is a huge reward in itself. Finding herself in a new country at a time when the world is so alarming and different from anything we’ve seen before is what led her to believe that global democracy is at the heart of the fight.
