There’s nothing like drinking wine on Pesach! Join us for our first annual Chol HaMoed Winery Tour series, led by renowned Israeli tour guide and sommelier Amir Katz.

Amir will lead two tours, one leaving from Tel Aviv on Monday, April 22 and the second leaving from Jerusalem on Tuesday, April 23 — be sure to come thirsty!

Tel Aviv – Monday, April 22

The Tel Aviv tour will begin with a celebratory l’chaim on the bus and a beautiful ride up north to visit two of Israel’s finest wineries, Tulip Winery and Jezreel Winery.

Amir will lead a tour of both wineries, which will each culminate in wine tastings featuring the best wines the wineries have to offer.
During the winery visits, you’ll have an exclusive opportunity to meet with the winemakers, owners and shakers at the winery and to learn about the winery’s history, secrets, and winemaking processes.

Jerusalem – Tuesday, April 23

The Jerusalem tour will begin with a celebratory l’chaim on the bus and a beautiful ride to the renowned Gush Etzion Winery.

Upon arrival, Amir will lead a tour of the winery and will speak about the significance of the Gush region in Israeli wine culture. Guests will then enjoy a proper tasting featuring the best wines the winery has to offer.

Following the winery visit, Amir will lead a second wine tasting in the Shetach of the Gush region, featuring 3 different wines.

About Amir Katz:

Katz received an M.A. in MIddle Eastern Studies at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Be’er Sheva and is highly trained in Middle Eastern geopolitical affairs and regional dynamics. He often guest lectures on topics regarding Israeli/Jewish history, the wine and beverage industry and NGO management. Above all, Katz is a passionate and proud Zionist, husband, father and small business owner.
