About Walls:
Walls Festival is an international mural festival that transforms developing urban neighbourhoods with public art. Inviting a roster of renowned and respected artists to create large-scale murals that create a dialogue with the local context, Walls Festival highlights how the shared landscape of the streets can be used as a fruitful forum for discussion, cultural exchange and creativity, bringing life to otherwise neglected and disenfranchised parts of the city. To date, more than twenty visual artists have participated in the festival programme in Haifa and Jerusalem, both local and from abroad. The third edition of Walls festival takes place in downtown Haifa with three days of special events, performances, and exhibitions, from 11-13 October, 2018.
