How is it that two groups look differently at the same historical events and does it necessarily mean that one side is right and another is wrong? Should school history lessons be taught to ‘Truth’? In general, is there any point in talking about ‘historical truth’ or do historians usually present the past as their community would like to think it was?
All this and more in a lecture on truth, lie and manipulation in the presentation of history, and on the main debates in the teaching of history in Israel and the world.
