Tu BiShvat is fast approaching and we’d love to invite you to our first ‘Tel Aviv Tu BiShvat Talks Night’.

Tu BiShvat is a time where we consider and celebrate our physical environment. Over the past number of years, there has been increased awareness of the human impact on our environment, and we are seeing its effects in full force – both for the good and bad. In August 2016 – a new epoch, the ‘Anthropocene’ was proposed to mark this era. With this in mind, the theme for our talks night is: ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it: ways in which humans do and should impact the environment’.

The exact format of the talk is up to each speaker – but we are hoping that each talk will be between 6-10 minutes. Pecha Kucha style (20 slides, with 20 seconds to present each slide) works quite nicely, if you are looking for inspiration.

As it is Tu BiShvat, we will be having a good variety of fruit and wine too – and if you’re able to bring some the more the merrier!

We look forward to seeing you!
