Guest-solo portrait Ron Rosenfeld (Portrait)

Tomer Zimmerman, a former Israeli tennis player, began playing the saxophone at the age of 32 when he met a street musician who charmed him and became his first teacher. Later Tomer studied with my players on Ariel Mikay, Amikam Kimelman and Peter Wertheimer. The latter together with Peter Roth (Monica Sex) produced Tomer’s first album, which was also attended by Meir Israel (Tamuz Shlomo Artzi), Peter Roth, Singolda (Shlomo Artzi) and Ziv Harpaz (Shalom Chanoch). The first album was published by Naor Dayan and members of the Mashina band, Avner Khodorov and Michael Benson. Production of poetry and mix by the legendary Louis Lahav. The poet Meir Goldberg was appointed to produce the text.  Now Tomer works on a new disc produced and processed by Joshua Lemony who also appears with him on stage. About five years ago, Tomer performed for the first time with Avner Chodorov, Michael Benson and Naor Dayan. Since then, Tomer has undergone a serious illness that he has not yet repeated twice and thank God.

Tomer returns to perform after five years and this time in the performance of songs from all albums new songs and stories from life. Some are humorous and some are deep.As part of his gratitude for his luck, the show’s income is dedicated to supporting the Ziv-Walker project at Ziv Medical Center in Safed for children with cerebral palsy who can not move independently. With the help of all of you, we will help them purchase Amidon “In-Walk”, which enables the movement experience to stand up, a movement that contributes greatly to their quality of life.

Together with Tomer they
