Ampi Caesarea - Ampi Caesarea, Caesarea,

For the first time in Israel – Thievery Corporation

The duo Rob Graze and Eric Hilton have been around since 1996, and were followed by a huge number of fans in their third decade of existence. The two came to many shows on television, integrated into blockbuster soundtracks and collaborated with prominent colleagues such as David Byrne, Perry Farrell, The Flaming Lips, Anushka Shankar, Bebel Gilberto and others.

They did all this without putting a single hit on the radio, without high-budget clips, without the backing of a large label, and with a strong need to renew all the time and break the familiar genre. Hathory Corporation has sold millions of albums worldwide and is considered to be the host of the world’s leading music festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza.

They influenced an entire generation of electronic producers, DJs and a diverse fan base that grew each year and includes Rastafers, female reverberators, seasoned icebergs, electronic music enthusiasts, indie experts and playwrights around the world. Each album contains surprises for the listener. One thought he had come to a relaxed lounge album and drifted into a psychedelic journey from a sensory mixer, the other wanted to move at the dapper pace and devoted himself to the voice of an Indian singer perfectly integrated.

The ensemble was created in Washington in 1995, and since their debut album, “Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi” (1996), they released The Mirror Conspiracy (with the hit The Lebanese Blonde in the Garden State soundtrack) and another 6 studio albums , Two remix collections and two mix albums accompanied by performances all over the world.
In their unique musical journey, they redefined a sub-genre of electronic music – a chill out that fits almost any situation, the one that propels you back and the one that lifts you to your feet and produces circular movements of the whole body.

Their last album, Treasures from the Temple, was released in April 2018 and is already working on new materials. When asked about their drive to keep innovating, they say: “What encourages us to produce and diversify our sound is the broad spectrum of collaborators and audiences we come to.” We had the privilege of working with artists from diverse cultural, social and political backgrounds and winning an equally diverse audience of fans. Who have become friends with this project are the greatest achievement for the music we create, created and produced in the coming years. ”

On July 24 the legendary ensemble will arrive at the perfect location, opposite the sea in Caesarea with 11 musicians on stage!
