Mon 14 August 2017 | 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Maze 9 - Maze 9, Tel Aviv, FREE (RSVP needed)

Moving out from your apartment? Already moved out? Looking for a new apartment in Tel-Aviv?
Big news!
The fair rent law has been recently approved!
We are really excited because it was born here at Mazeh 9 as an idea by people who believed they could make a change and now is promoted to the Knesset. WOW!
But what’s the whole deal with this new law?
What does it really mean for us?

Monday 14th of August, activists, poets and municipal representatives will clear things out on a glass of beer.

Still feeling we’ve been screwed?!

So what will happen?

19:00
We will dive into the Israeli rental jungle with Channel 10’s economic commentator Matan Khodorov.

20:00
Municipality and housing – what’s the story?!
What does the municipality do? Why don’t we see results? Who is connected to the Fair Rent Law and how does this whole business is related to the towers around the city? Four municipality representatives will come with answers to our questions.

Poetry Slam comes to sing our contracts and do whatever they like. Besides that’s how poets are.

Oh, wait, but where do we protest?

Representatives from the field will come to tell us what happened in 2011, what happens now, what is planned for the future and how we can join the celebrations.

FREE legal advice!!!
If it all sounds Greek to you, don’t forget to bring your lease with you!

All the above will take place at Mazeh 9, August 14th at 19:00.

The beer is on us!The weird apartment stories on you!
