The Young Composers Competition is part of the “Young People’s Program” – the vision of the Jazz Festival in Eilat, in cooperation with the Friends of the Festival, which aims to nurture the future generation of jazz musicians in Israel. A generation of young people who will be part of the festival and develop as international musicians and promising artists of the festival, and later become the power and lever of the festival.
The directors of the festival’s youth program are Erez Bar Noy and Yael Hadani.
Of the young jazz ensembles who submit their candidacy for the competition, up to six ensembles will compete for a place in the young competition of the Eilat Jazz Festival. The two best ensembles will be hosted at the festival, perform on the open stage, on the jam session and throughout the city of Eilat and lead the next generation of the local jazz scene.
The ensemble competition for the ages of 17-22 will take place in 2 stages

2. Final contest before judges will be held at Beit Haamudim (Rambam 4) on Wednesday 10/7 at 16:00
