Industry expert Morris Alper will explore how machine learning algorithms risk being racist, sexist, and otherwise biased, and what some researchers are doing to try and make AI more fair. Join us for a riveting lecture on March 17th, 2020 at ITC’s Tel Aviv campus.

👋🏻 About the speaker:
Morris Alper is a data scientist working at Pipl, inc., specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), and a master’s student in computer science at Tel Aviv University. Originally from Palo Alto, California, Morris graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.Sc. in mathematics and linguistics and since then has been working as a NLP data scientist in an international environment. His interests include neural machine translation, NLP for under-resources languages, and functional programming.
