Like a movie by Hal Hartley minus the artistic statement, like a film made by an alien who has never seen a movie in his life but friends have told him about movies, like the placenta of a thought that David Lynch vomited in a kerchief in the middle of the night, the independent piece from 2003 – The mind of actor / writer / director / creator / freak Tommy Wissot – emerged into the world and conquered the concept of “bad” in the storm.

It’s one of the most inconsistent movies you’ll ever see. More than half of it is devoted to sub-plots of characters, regardless of the main plot. Not for nothing – every newspaper and international culture magazine called it “Citizen Kane of the worst films,” and thus, as happens in our postmodern world, this disaster became a cult film, and Visso a beloved and admired figure in the underground scene.

On 8 February at 7:00 PM, at the gallery of Teder, we will screen the film on a screen, accompanied by English subtitles. Before me, Naama will only present the man behind the piece, the amazingly strange story of the film’s production, and how people around the world know him and know him by heart. There will also be a short trivia quiz because we do not keep our stupid questions in your pocket.
