Israeli Opera House - Sderot Sha'ul HaMelech 19, Tel Aviv,

The Revolution Orchestra together with Geshem
Host Esther Rada on the first night of the series of the 2019 revolution at the Israeli Opera Tel Aviv!

A three-headed monster of brains and musical instruments in an evening full of whipped cream and cherries of the golden age of jazz. Familiar standards and wizards, of composers such as Ellington, Gershwin, Monk, Coltrane, Mingus and others, in rich and contemporary arrangements.

In the special version of this performance, the standards – melodies that have fascinated people over the past century – serve as a starting point for original and daring orchestral works that combine electronic sound, groove, and virtuoso orchestral music. Through the eyes and ears of the two groundbreaking ensembles: the Revolution Orchestra,
GESHEM (Yonatan Albalak, Shozin & Aviv Cohen / Sol Munk)
And the singer Esther Rada – the show will move on the line between tradition and innovation, intellect and emotion, electronic instruments and orchestral instruments.
Conductor: Roy Oppenheim
Artistic management: Zohar Sharon, Roy Oppenheim and Yonatan Albalak

The show is part of the series of the revolution in cooperation with the Israeli Opera, which includes three different and wonderful performances that combine new music with genres from the world of film and art, and the world of rock and jazz.
