How much do Hebrew and Arabic share with one another? (surprise, or not, A LOT!)
Join us for an evening in Jerusalem to learn about the commonalities between Hebrew and Arabic. The workshop will take place from 18:00-20:00 and will begin with a round table discussion on the historical, linguistic and a bit of the political relationship between Hebrew and Arabic. Through interactive language games and activities, we will seek to illuminate the relationship between Hebrew and Arabic as well as analyze what this linguistic connection could mean in terms of the socio-political reality.
The workshop will be followed by a PARTY to introduce our new home in Jerusalem!! Snacks, drinks, music, and TINAU, what could be better?? Oh, right, here’s what makes it better- it’s a FREE event!
