Or ‘free space’ refers to how public areas can be made better for their users. One of the ways to improve the public space and make it a public place that people like to come to is a planning activity that shares the public.
A little on the platform:
The building, which used to be the center of the central bus station, was renovated and houses municipal kindergartens, a police station and an entrepreneurship center called “the quay”, after the buses that stood there for decades.
The platform project is part of a series of initiatives to improve the quality of life in Neve Sha’anan, and was established in cooperation with the World City Administration, Community Management and the Innovation Team, sponsored by the Bloomberg Foundation. The platform is home to social and technological entrepreneurship and social activity, with an emphasis on initiatives designed to cope with the challenges of the south of the city.
