It is hard to live in Israel. The daily race for the cost of living, the unseen pension, and the housing crisis dwarf the fantasy of some fateful coincidence that will change our lives from one end to the other. The Israeli dream is the dream of knocking once and for all the system that always works against us.
At the upcoming DocAviv Festival, we will dive into the Israeli dream. We will tell the story of people who tried to beat the system and come back to tell, and try to understand whether these dreams actually hold true. What do we dream about, and what have we stopped dreaming of?
