A little about the film, no spoilers:
“17-year-old Asher was always the ‘disturbed’ boy in high school, and he lives with his father Milo, the owner of a scaffolding business, a hard and dominant man with a hard hand who works with his father every day in scaffolding, and Milo expects him to come and replace him. New to Rami’s literature, enters Asher’s class, finds him a role model, and for the first time succeeds in imagining a different future from what his father dictated to him: “Best Actor and Actor Awards at the Jerusalem Festival, Ophir Award for Best Actor Actor Ami Smolarchik”
The film is based on the life story of Asher, who plays himself. And the character of the teacher is based on the experiences of the director of the film – Matan Yair.
