During the years of its existence, the festival has gained a great reputation in Israel and abroad as a center of attraction for the foundations of jazz and as a home for special projects. But above all, the festival is a thrilling experience for the genre lovers. This year the festival will also host well-known jazz musicians from around the world, alongside Israeli musicians in original productions and premieres.
Every year, you can enjoy live performances of jazz ensembles in the Cinematheque lobby.

Daniel Jobim – Piano player and composer.
Nicholas Payton – multi-instrumentalist and composer.
Ravi Coltrane – Saxophonist, bandleader and composer.
Eyal Talmudi – trumpetis and oud player.
Makaya McCraven – drummer and mixmaster.
The Tel Aviv Jazz Festival will take place on December 6-8, 2017, for the 28th year. The festival is one of the most important and quality music events in Israel.
