About Our Performance: Mothers
The Israeli Opera and Gesher Theater have partnered for this extraordinary collaboration called ‘Mothers’. This is a unique original Israeli contemporary work in Hebrew by David Sebba. The ‘Mothers’ recount Genesis stories from the point of view of women. Our four matriarchs; Sarah, Rebecca, Leah & Rachel, will be joined by Hagar, Bilha, Zilpa, Lot’s wife and Potiphar’s wife, who will reveal to the audience the stories behind the stories.

Translation and subtitles will be screened in both Hebrew and English.
