The Story of a drop Airy>

In the early 1980s, in the London MCS, the young boy ‘Tira Irie’ had the status of a god – he was sharper than everyone else, and with a melodic and smooth voice – was a blow to the endless lyric.

In those days, a period of identity formation, A father of Jamaican origin, the owner of an old sound system – a drop was born into the music. He grew up in England and was British and Jamaican in the same breath, and one of the first to create the connection between the two cultures into a fast and new style – the Fast Chat, alongside artists such as Peter King, Smiley Calcha, Papa Levy, Dadi Collan, Maxi Priest And others, all of whom worked as part of the Saxon Studio incubator and created the British rap (later the Grimm) ~

At the beginning of his career, most of the audience knew him and his contemporaries by listening to the Sound System cassettes, which were a popular staple among the black community on the London-New York-Kingston axis.
