This Hackathon aims to tackle challenges nonprofits face in achieving their mission, while also strengthening relationships between nonprofits and students/young professionals in the social impact field.
We are partnering with three nonprofits who will pose the Hackathon challenges:
1. Women Wage Peace
2. Pathways
3. Itach Maachi and the Heschel Center for Sustainability (partnering on the 2030 Global Sustainable Development Goals)
Solutions will not necessarily be tech-oriented, but will derive from participants’ own expertise in the fields of conflict resolution, nonprofit management, political science, international relations, public policy, social and organizational psychology, and related subjects.
This is a unique opportunity for participants to put theory to action, while providing nonprofits the opportunity to connect with a young professional team that can devote time, energy, and creativity toward a challenge facing their organization.
Winning teams will have the opportunity to work with our partners, after the Hackathon, to develop and implement their initiatives!
