Gabriel Belhassan, one of the most important and respected composers in Israel, passed away in August 2013. Belhassan began his musical career with the Algerian band, and went on to a solo career that included five solo albums. These albums are the musical heritage of Belhassan, which has left its mark on the world of music.
Gabriel described well in his poems the constant movement between despair and hope. After his departure, Belhassan’s brother fulfilled his dream under the initiative “We are all a white flag”, a community that works to reduce the stigma under which lives and souls face contenders.
This year’s tribute is marked by “We are all white flags.”

גבריאל בלחסן, מהיוצרים החשובים והמוערכים בישראל, הלך לעולמו בחודש אוגוסט 2013. בלחסן החל את דרכו המוזיקלית בלהקת אלג’יר, והמשיך לקריירת סולו שכללה חמישה אלבומי סולו. האלבומים הללו הם המורשת המוזיקלית של בלחסן, אשר הותירה את חותמה על עולם המוזיקה.
גבריאל היטיב לתאר בשיריו את התנועה המתמדת בין ייאוש לתקווה. לאחר עזבונו אחיו של בלחסן הגשימו את חלומו תחת היוזמה ״כולנו דגל לבן״, קהילה שפועלת לצמצום הסטיגמה תחתיה חיים וחיות מתמודדי נפש.
הופעת המחווה השנה היא בסימן ״כולנו דגל לבן״.
כל ההכנסות יועברו כתרומה לבית המאזן ״בית של תקווה״.
