Two groups, the legend of the 70’s, the flagship of the genre, along with David Bowie, Alice Cooper and T-Rex created an immortal legacy that meets the hearts of fans to this day. The ideological inspirers of Kiss, Motley Crewe, Def Leppard and all the glam rock of the eighties.
For the first time in history, the founders of the genre will appear back to back on one stage and perform in Israel in a vivid show that will turn the clock back. Slade Bandwas founded in 1966. The peak of its glory team reached the first half of the seventies. Long hair, shiny costumes, energetic rock, diluted with lyrical ballads – in those years it was the most popular and popular. Their songs repeatedly climbed to the top of the UK charts, and even approached the record of the Beatles, having entered the twentieth best songs of the UK with 17 singles in a row. Today in the group are two members from the original lineup – vocalist Dave Hill and drummer Don Powell.
Another headliner of the 70’s, Sweet band, began as a wholly-owned glem-rock band, their single “Block Buster!” in 1973 ranked first in the leading British and international charts. Over time, under the influence of new trends, the band weighted its sound to the real hard rock. Fans of Sweet liked the new style, and in this version the singles and albums of the band for a long time kept on high enough positions in the British charts.
Two powerful teams, representing the whole era, will meet on the stage of Tel Aviv “Riding” on November 20! All the best songs, inimitable atmosphere of the glam-rock festival and the real sound of the 70’s!
