Israeli Opera House - Sderot Sha'ul HaMelech 19, Tel Aviv,

Berry Sakharof, Rea Mochiach and the Revolutionary Orchestra are joining a one-time show –
“Signs of Weakness” Berry Sakharof’s masterpiece goes up to the opera stage, with Rea Mochiach and orchestral arrangements performed by the Revolution Orchestra, together with the Bat Shir Choir.

“Signs of Weakness” is Sakharof’s second solo album, which he created in collaboration with the drummer and musical producer Reza Mochiach. The album, released in 1994, was characterized by an innovative sound using extensive electronic music and symphonies. The album is considered to be one of the best Israeli rock albums of all time.
The 2019 version of the Revolution Orchestra, directed by Roi Oppenheim and Zohar Sharon, invites new listening to the familiar texts and music, with the musical interpretation that has not yet been heard.
In the show, the album will be performed in new arrangements, which are orchestrated by orchestral, sonic and electronic means with the sound of the original album. The arrangements seek to deepen the audience’s attention to the texts and the emotional dimension inherent in them and to illuminate it from a new angle.
The show is the second in the revolution series of the Revolution Orchestra in cooperation with the Israeli Opera, which combines new music with genres from the world of film and art, and the world of rock and jazz.
