“The Holiday,” a short documentary by Uri Shamali

This is the story of the most Israeli beach, which fills up during the holidays and turns into a mosaic full of testimony, colors and sectors.
Marriage proposals, people dancing, singing, on the beach and in the water, building a tower of bottles, and for a moment – remembering how years ago, they knew about the same beach.
And late at night – they come to confession, that here, they feel belong, that here is good, but “life itself” is a complex and charged story.
“Hof Ha-Mo’ed,” a documentary that examines the Israeli’s reflection in the landscape of his country – the Sea of Galilee – is the symbol of Israeli identity – and perhaps, the “hourglass” of our existence in this desert oasis.

A discussion with the director at the end of the screening.
