Fri 13 April 2018 | 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Ben Gurion House - Ben Gurion 17, Tel Aviv,

Beit Tefilah Israeli, in partnership with the Ben-Gurion House of Tel Aviv, invites the public to explore the Ben-Gurion House and then participate in a musical Kabbalat Shabbat in the Ben-Gurion House’s courtyard.

The Shabbat between the week of Holocaust Remembrance Day and the week of Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom Haatzmaut (Independence Day) is “Shabbat Tekuma (Revival)”. This Shabbat marks the days that we have gone through together as a nation – the Holocuast and revival. Great pain and real joy.

As part of a nation and a state, during this Kabbalat Shabbat, we will connect with Holocaust Memorial Day that is behind us and move forward to prepare for Yom Hazikaron and Yom Haatzmaut, from sadness, pain, and loss to the birth of the state.

4:00-5:30 PM – Ben-Gurion House open to visitors
5:30-7:00 PM – Musical Kabbalat Shabbat services in the courtyard of the Ben-Gurion House

*Our Kabbalat Shabbat services are suitable for the whole family.
*The entrance to Kabbalat Shabbat is free and with limited seating space.
*We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt in case it cools down in the evening.

We look forward to seeing you!
