Sefi Zisling Group X ILL Camile X Damani Nkosi

A one-time evening that is a meeting point between musical worlds – jazz, sol and hip hop, between atmosphere and expression

In the past decade, Sefi’s trumpet has become the trademark of the Israeli groove scene. Two years ago, Sefi and the trumpet set out on their own road. Today, a moment before the release of a second album (which we will discuss later), Sefi Ciesling’s ensemble settles on a unique frequency in a stylistic space without boundaries.

Eyal Kamil – represents an original and important female voice in American hip-hop. Inspired by the Conscious Hip-Hop, Camille regularly recites her witty texts about burning and controversial issues in American society. Over the years, she has worked with quite a few esteemed producers / musicians – such as Trace Martin, School Boy Boy, Georgia Ann Madelero, and more – and her latest album was produced by the legendary Beatles’
This year she also managed to appear and reap praise in the NPR Tyne Desk – one of the most valued and influential formats today.

Eyal Kamil and Spie Zizling also join Damani Nekusu who has collaborated in recent years with a distinguished list of musicians such as: Kmsi Washington, Dredra, Posh-ti, Snoop Dogg and others.
Recently, Damani joined Camille’s special path and since then the two have been writing, creating and performing together and planning to launch a new joint project that will soon be heard about him.

Under the auspices of the artistic willingness to connect, research and create together, the ensemble of Sefi Cizling and Eyal Kamil and Damani Nekusi will meet for a one-time joint performance on May 15th at the Barbie Club. The performance will be held with an expanded ensemble of seven musicians and will include segments of the two performers alongside original and new music currently being written in Tel Aviv and Los Angeles!
