Wed 7 August 2019 | 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Cafe Shapira - Ralbag 15, Tel Aviv,

On Wednesday, 7.8, we will screen the Cafe Shapiro film by Ben Muir and Kobe Farge, a private album.

After the film, an open conversation will be held with Maurice Ben-Muir the creator and editor and the song Helena Rosen, the lead producer.

The film “Private Album” is the story of the 70 years of the country, as reflected in the private pictures of 17 Israelis and Israelis. Each picture brings to life a great or small historical moment – the Yom Kippur War and the disengagement, Rabin’s assassination and the rise of Ethiopia, alongside the evening when Louis Armstrong drunk Maine hammers in Kibbutz Sasa, and Hapoel’s golden age in football.
Kobe Faraj, whose photos evoke childhood memories of his dad’s photography store, embark on a journey between the cameras and the photos. In a series of touching, entertaining and unexpected interviews, the Israelis in the photographs reconstruct the historical moments, creating together an original and delicate mosaic that moves along the seam between personal and national and between the inner and intimate external and public – the same “situation”
