Wed 31 July 2019 | 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Cafe Shapira - Ralbag 15, Tel Aviv,

On Wednesday, July 31, we will be screening documentary film “Neighbors” by director Shai Levy.

After moving away and years of life in the moshav, the director returns to Rehovot, the city where he grew up. He replaces orchards and greenhouses in an elevator and a staircase. Instead of the moshav’s expanses, they now live on the other side of the wall and in the windows opposite people whose intrusive existence he can no longer ignore. This is a film that examines the routine of a shared apartment building, on the border between the private and the public, between the seller and the stranger.

After the film there will be an open discussion with the film’s creator, Shai Levy.
