On Wednesday, July 24, we will be screening the documentary film “The Costliest Price of Cheap Fashion” at Cafe Shapira.
This is actually a chapter from the series “The System” edited by Mickey Haimovich, which deals with the story behind our clothes.
After the film, a conversation will be held with Ilana Leizin, a designer, activist, environmentalist with research on sustainable fashion and co-founder of the Forum for Sustainable Fashion and a resident of the neighborhood.
